I'm a native Texan who paints in my own impressionistic style. I earned a BFA and BS in Studio Art and Art Education from Texas State University.
My life took a different turn, but now I paint again from my own photo references. (When painting pet portraits I do rely on the clients photos.) My work shows joy and excitement for my subjects, whether it's an old house, flamingo or person.
You can view my work on Facebook via Artistic Souls Gallery Auctions about every other month when they are held online. I also show at FSAM in Houston periodically. First Saturday Arts Market.

I earned a BS and BFA from Texas State University many years ago, but just recently started painting again in 2012 or so. My work shows the excitement of my subjects with joy and character. I consider my art to be happy art.
